PAUL AND MELONIE FUDGE IN ZIMBABWE
My youngest brother Paul Fudge and wife Melonie have arrived safely in Harare, Zimbabwe. There they expect to remain busy until the date in June arrives for them to return home, God willing, Paul is scheduled to teach a course at Zimbabwe Christian College (ZCC), and Melonie will be doing informal personal discipling, biblical counseling and encouragement, particularly with wives of ministerial students.
On weekends they will visit and teach by invitation in surrounding churches. “We have sensed strongly that God has led us to this particular work for now,” Paul says, “and we are excitedly anticipating what he will do with this trip.” Paul has had some ongoing medical challenges, and his treating physicians have approved this trip. Arrangements have been made for communicating with his regular health care providers in Orlando, Florida if needed, and coverage is in effect for an emergency evacuation should that become necessary.
“We are increasingly aware that where we go and what we do depends upon the prayer support of others,” Paul says. “Thank you for being a prayer partner with us.” To that end, Paul and Melonie invite your fellowship in prayer:
— “for God to go before us to prepare encounters and hearts;
— “for him to prepare our hearts and minds to accomplish his purposes;
— “for God’s protection over our health, and for safety throughout the trip;
— “for provisions and guidance for Zimbabwe Christian College; and
— “for God to knit the students and staff together in love.”
ZCC is a undergraduate college serving and supported by Christian churches and churches of Christ in the United States and in Zimbabwe. By training pastors and teachers, the college encourages church planting and church growth throughout the region. ZCC stands firmly in the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement which seeks to find biblical principles to set the direction and practice of the church.

ALL WE NEED TO KNOW
Are you weary and worn down by burdens and pressures of this Present Age? Do you suffer afflictions of body, mind, or spirit? Do not despair–there is rest, encouragement, refreshment and repose, and it is available without cost to all who need it.
The Apostle Paul, Christ’s designated emissary and spokesperson to the non-Jewish peoples of the world, teaches us to set our minds on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God (Col. 3:1). One of many very useful tools for doing that is this soul-stirring song, “Before the Throne of God Above,” which you can see and hear without charge.
